Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier whose career began as a mathematics educator before transitioning to the financial services industry, where he accumulated substantial wealth managing tax and investment portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Throughout his life, he cultivated connections with prominent figures across business, politics, and entertainment. In 2008, he was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution and received a lenient sentence. Over a decade later, federal authorities charged him with operating a major sex trafficking operation involving minors during the preceding years. While held in jail pending trial, Epstein died in 2019; authorities determined his death resulted from suicide.
