Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a Ukrainian political leader who transitioned from an entertainment career to become the nation's sixth president, assuming office in 2019. His presidency has been defined by unprecedented geopolitical challenges, including the ongoing conflict with Russia that began with the 2014 annexation of Crimea and the subsequent Donbas incursion.
